Dog Poo on the Recreation Ground

Reports have been coming in that dog poo is still being found left on our Recreation Ground.
As well as general walking across the Rec, we have a lovely new play area for children and our football nets and table-tennis table are regularly used by locals and visitors to our village. It would be extremely unpleasant to fall or tread in dog poo whilst using the Rec's facilities.

On country paths and byways, it is common courtesy to pick up your dog’s faeces as other people also walk those paths and dogs often like to roll in or even eat it.

As with littering, it is unlawful not to pick up after your dog
and is subject to a fine.
The law requires that you always carry poo bags with you when walking your dog and either dispose into a dog poo bin
or take home and dispose there.
